Tele-Health Testing

Telehealth Lab Testing

LabX Tele-Testing brings blood and urine testing to your patient — wherever they are. A mailed collection kit, a trained observer guiding the process by video, and results on a secure portal in 24–48 hours. No waiting rooms, no transportation barriers.

Testing anywhere your patients are

For patients with limited mobility, no transportation, or those in rural areas, getting to a lab can be the barrier that keeps them from testing at all. LabX Tele-Testing removes it — bringing observed, lab-supervised collection to the patient's home while keeping the provider connected to fast, reliable results.

How it works

  1. A kit is mailed to the patient — a tamper-evident collection kit for blood and urine, with tracking and a prepaid return label.
  2. A trained LabX observer joins by video — scheduling the call and guiding and monitoring the collection to help ensure a valid, properly collected specimen.
  3. Results in 24–48 hours — once the sample reaches the lab, results are posted to a secure portal for the ordering provider.

Observed collection you can trust

Because a trained observer guides and monitors the collection over video, the specimen is collected under supervision — supporting specimen validity and chain of custody much like an in-lab collection would. That matters most in monitoring settings where the integrity of the result is essential.

Built for monitoring programs

Tele-Testing is especially well suited to addiction treatment and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), MAT and buprenorphine practices, and behavioral-health medication management — settings that rely on consistent, defensible toxicology and can benefit from small-volume blood testing. Testing is ordered by the treating provider.
