Our standard panel

12-Panel Drug Test

The 12-panel drug test is our standard screen for both at-home and workplace testing. It covers the substances that actually matter today — including fentanyl, which many cheaper panels still leave out. Choose the specimen that fits: urine at $89, self-collected in a cup, or fingerstick blood at $99, the more accurate and more stable sample.

What a 12-panel drug test screens for

🧪 Urine — $89

Self-collect cup. 13 substances.

  • Cocaine
  • THC
  • ETOH (alcohol)
  • PCP
  • 6 MAM (heroin)
  • Amphetamine
  • Barbiturates
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Fentanyl
  • Methamphetamine
  • Opiates
  • Oxycodone
  • Buprenorphine
🩸 Blood — $99

Simple fingerstick. 12 substances. More accurate and more stable.

  • Cocaine
  • ETS (alcohol)
  • PCP
  • 6 MAM (heroin)
  • Amphetamine
  • Barbiturates
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Fentanyl
  • Methamphetamine
  • MDMA
  • Opiates
  • Oxycodone

Every result is reviewed by our CLIA-certified laboratory. A screen is presumptive by design; adding full-panel confirmation runs definitive LC-MS/MS testing on every substance listed above, not only the ones that flag — which is what proves a clean panel rather than simply not flagging one.

Urine or blood — which should you choose?

Urine ($89) is the familiar choice and has the longer detection window for most substances. It is what employers use for pre-employment and random testing, and when the result may be challenged we observe the collection by TeleTest so it stays defensible.

Blood ($99) is collected with a simple fingerstick, needs no observer, and can be done in your own office in minutes. It is the more accurate and more stable specimen — blood is far harder to dilute or adulterate, which is why it is the better answer when the stakes are high or when several people need testing back to back.

Why fentanyl matters on a modern panel

Many drug panels still in circulation were designed before fentanyl became the dominant driver of overdose deaths in the United States. A screen that omits it can return a clean result on someone using the most dangerous substance in the supply.

Both our urine and blood 12-panels include fentanyl and 6-MAM, the marker the body only produces after heroin. If you are comparing panels, check for both by name.

Common questions

How much does a 12-panel drug test cost?
A urine 12-panel is $89 and a fingerstick blood 12-panel is $99. Full-panel LC-MS/MS confirmation can be added to either.
Does the 12-panel include fentanyl?
Yes. Both the urine and blood panels screen for fentanyl, and for 6-MAM, the specific marker for heroin.
Is blood or urine more accurate?
Blood is the more accurate and more stable specimen and is far harder to dilute or adulterate. Urine has a longer detection window for most substances. Both are processed by our CLIA-certified laboratory.
How long do results take?
Screening results are typically reviewed within 24 to 48 hours of the laboratory receiving your sample. Added confirmation testing takes longer.
Can I use this for employment testing?
Yes. For workplace testing we recommend adding full-panel confirmation, and for observed urine collections our TeleTest service puts a certified collector on video with the employee.
